An awareness, an impulse, a feeling. As I look through the viewfinder of my camera, I am transported elsewhere. I am transported to a space where I can cast my attention to the meaning breathed into tone, light and expression. I can feel the life pulsing through a moment. And, this desire, this wish to capture meaning, compels me to photograph.
